CHARLES H. KUCK
He is the President of AILA (American
Immigration Lawyers Association). In 2007 Atlanta
Magazine named him again Georgia “Super Lawyer” in the field
of immigration law. He is listed as one of the best
immigration lawyers in the United States by Chambers USA,
America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, and by Chambers
Global, The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business.
Listed in Who's Who of International Corporate Immigration
Attorneys. He was awarded the Benjamin Landey Pro Bono Award
by Catholic Social Services. His active federal
litigation practice has resulted in seven precedent
decisions published by the Federal District and Circuit
Courts of Appeal in the United States. He has written
articles on various U.S. immigration law subjects, has
testified before Congress on immigration matters and has
spoken at various legal, industry, business, and civic
organizations on a broad range of immigration topics. He is
frequently quoted in the press, and has appeared on CBS,
FoxNews, CNN, MSNBC, National Public Radio, as well as other
U.S. radio stations and written publications, including the
New York Times, Los Angeles Times, The New Yorker, The
National Journal, The Miami Herald, The Atlanta Journal
Constitution and The Wall Street Journal.

• President of the American Immigration Lawyers
Association ("AILA").
• National Secretary and Founder member and of the Academy
of Business Immigration Lawyers ("ABIL").
• Served for seven years on the Board of Directors of the
Latin American Association.
• Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Georgia
School of Law since 1999, teaching the seminars "the
Introductory" and "Advanced Immigration Law".
• Several years on the Board of Governors and the National
Executive Committee of AILA.
• Chair of the Atlanta Chapter of AILA, and on various other
National Liaison Committees.
• Editor-in-Chief of The AILA Litigation Toolbox, about

Law Degrees and Education
Mr. Kuck received his B.A. degree from Brigham Young
University, and earned his J.D. degree, cum laude, from
Arizona State University Law School. He is admitted to
practice law in Georgia, Washington, D.C., and Arizona.
Mr. Kuck is the managing shareholder of his own immigration
law firm with offices in Atlanta, Dalton and Gainesville,
Georgia, Miami and Orlando, Florida. He concentrates
on U.S. immigration and nationality law, and international
migration matters. His practice and experience involves
assisting employers and employees with business and
professional visas, labor certifications, immigrant visas,
consular representation, and citizenship matters for foreign
executives, managers, professionals, and lesser skilled
workers. Mr. Kuck maintains an active Federal Court practice
with focus on immigration issues. He has represented asylum
seekers in more than 400 trials before the immigration
court, advises employers on compliance procedures in
verifying the work eligibility of all new employees as
required under the I-9 "employer sanctions" provisions of
federal law. Major clients include technology firms,
manufacturers, multinational corporations and individual
investors and entrepreneurs, as well as asylum seekers and
immigrants and their relatives.
Some of his areas of expertise include U.S. Immigration
& Nationality Law, Federal Court Litigation on Immigration
Matters, Expatriate Visa Matters and General Immigration
Issues. Mr. Kuck is fluent in English and Spanish
language.
